What is a root canal treatment?

A root canal is a dental operation in which the pulp of a tooth is replaced with a filling to cure a damaged or infected tooth. The central core of the tooth, known as the pulp, is home to the arteries, tissue fibers, and nerves that sustain the tooth. The term “root canal” comes from cleaning of the canals inside a tooth’s root. Decades ago, root canal treatments often were painful.

If moving forward, treatment is then performed.

All insurance information, including changes and updates need to be provided to us at the time of service so we can submit on your behalf. All payments will be sent directly to the policy holder.
